Chris Ellis is a Financial Consultant at Maven. He helps doctors grow their business by establishing achievable goals, coaching financial literacy, and thoroughly analyzing their performance. Chris’s strengths and interests are at the intersection of healthcare, marketing, and start-ups. He has a knack for simplifying complex problems and breaking them up into solvable tasks.

Chris has spent much of his career consulting healthcare businesses and start-ups. Whether working with doctors to establish their own private practice or helping scale VC-backed companies with larger teams, he enjoys the creativity, scrappiness, and excitement that comes with helping entrepreneurs grow. With unique exposure to the common obstacles businesses can face, Chris has come across the best practices for overcoming them.

After receiving his master’s degree in Healthcare Management, he started his career in practice management consulting, helping healthcare providers open new locations. He’s since started his own software company, worked at multiple fast-growing healthcare startups in New York City, and even launched a video game.

Outside of work, Chris loves spending his free time with friends and family. He enjoys movies, stand-up comedy, theater, and traveling. He’s visited 5 continents and 30+ countries so far and is always planning his next trip.
